I mean, dude... I don't think that's exactly a fair representation. They've been swatted over and over again, imagine going to bed and wondering if you're going to wake up to agitated cops banging on your door with guns drawn.....
I'm not an ACAB person, I have empathy for the tough job police have, I'm against defunding... but there's clearly something wrong with the MPD. They've shown up to their house with guns drawn how many times, 6? And something tells me if Pat or Nikki had a sibling in the MPD, they would've started getting phone calls after the first incident instead of the SWAT team on their doorstep time and time again.
You can listen to the podcast and feel bad for them for the swattings, while at the same time roll your eyes at Pat's other actions, or be annoyed with how crafted his presented narrative is...
And it is a disingenuous narrative. For example, in this three-part podcast, Pat, a man who is unquestionably and unwaveringly hyperfocused on politics... who spits venom at anyone who doesn't share the exact same beliefs as he does, especially but not exclusively in terms of political opinions... who has publically tweeted his belief that anyone who voted for Trump is a racist and a Nazi and that violence against them is morally just......
.....somehow forgot to mention not only is Anthony Cumia a self-styled member of the "alt right" and an *ACTUAL* racist dumpster fire (just look at his Twitter)... but that he and his similarly-behaving brother Joe WERE THE MAIN AND ORIGINAL - and I wish I had another term handy - "LOLCOWS" of the OnA subreddit, and even on this forum! Rather, Pat's summary of Anthony was he was a talkshow host and eventually their fans "turned on him". That's it, fin.
(A quick aside: did you know that the people on this forum "eat their own"? I guess if a listener happened to be aware of the Cumia's and "the pests", that would explain why this supposedly alt right forum would spend so much time making fun of them, and Gavin McInnes, and that Milo guy, and Nick Fuentes, and countless others. It could even explain why they trashed racists for being racist, like that loser Colin Flaherty!
Don't worry if you didn't catch that the first time, because Pat and Nikki made sure to repeat the phrase "they eat their own!" several times.)
Girl, please; if you believe Pat somehow isn't aware of, forgot, or otherwise naturally failed to inform Javier of Anthony Cumia's character and politics, then send me a PM because I have a bridge to sell you.
And I'm sure Pat also forgot to mention - not even a single time - how in addition to Anthony, "the pests" made fun of outspoken conservative "Brother" Joe Cumia. It's weird because, wasn't most of the pests' time focused on those two?
But I am glad that Otherwise Forgetful Pat was at least able to share how people on the subforum bullied Sue Lightning because she happens to be trans. I'm glad I know the truth now... because somehow I thought everyone liked her? Didn't she even do an AMA on the subreddit? Huh, she did:
https://new.onaforums.net/threads/throwback-sue-lightnings-ama.40539/
Pat also informed the listener that the pests bullied Logan Lynn solely and inextricably because he's gay. I'm not familiar with Logan Lynn so I can't comment on that situation. Was any other gay person bullied for being gay like Pat explained? There must have been...
Words are powerful, folks. And in this politically-charged environment (people are acting as if politics are like sports), if you deem someone as "being on the other team" ("Alt right scum!", "Antifa libtard!") soooo many people "on your team" will shut off their brains like they've been socially conditioned to do and shun the "bad person". It's tiresome.
