It's easy to forget that aspect of the lolsuit. It was so clearly intended as an intimidation tactic to get quasi to fold and shut down the site. I remember think at the time 'it was fun while it lasted' since I was certain quasi wouldn't wanna deal with the headache/expense of a lawsuit just to keep a website for a few hundred autists running. I'm glad he did though since we would've missed out on so much hilarity, including Apostlegate.

He went out of his way to paint Quasi as a target and fucked himself over in the long run by doing so. In any sensible suit of this kind, you'd never include the site owner unless you have blatant, unambiguous evidence that they committed a crime against you. You just subpoena them for the IPs of the individuals you might actually have a case against and they'll have no reason not to hand them over. It's why folks who run sites like these regularly advise users to watch their own backs. Brinton's argument for naming Quasi as Doe 1 was pathetic and utterly contrived and they never managed to jump that hurdle in court.

Even after all that. In this interview Pat is still insisting that quasi is one of the main people actively harassing him when quasi has never posted a bit trolling pat. If this place has never seen him troll pat, how can pat act like he has proof of these accusations?

Also none of his other videos are in the same vein of Strictly Stalking where they just show you the stalking story and say "how terrible". The subjects of all his videos are con artists.

I’m very upset he said I’m not a fan of norm. Not only did I love him on Weekend Update, know every line from Dirty Work, watched the Norm show (was same night / channel as Drew Carey) and saw him live 3 times - the last Stand up show i went to was Norm in 2019 at the Borgata in AC. I even met the man in 2009 at it was a great honor to meet the man who brought me so much laughter. Fuck You, Pat.

I saw Norm at Cobb's a number of years ago, and it was probably the best show I've ever seen. And I saw Mitch Hedberg and Chapelle at the Punch Line. I even saw Robin Williams bring down the house. But I can't imagine anything like Norm live. Just another level. Like a God amongst men.

He graduated college at like 16 with a degree in mathematics which is why he liked to gamble - he could count cards. He was the smartest guy in any room yet was able have audiences relate to him as his “dumb guy” delivery. That’s why I really liked him so much, you knew he was brilliant and had an interesting point of view.

There’s a reason why so many comedians respected him and thought he was one of the greatest - nobody else was like him.

And of course Pat didn’t find him funny which explains all you need to know about Pat and his shit sense of humor. He’s a humorless dolt who thinks he’s a superior intellectual.

As dumb as Pat. may possibly be does at least try to strategize around our postings. They both mentioned people being banned, tried to paint Dan as seeking broad fame and being a broke loser with nothing to lose, which is exactly why Pat is continuing this fight himself. Less infighting here and some direct focus on using accurate terms to describe what we do will corrupt Pat's narrative. We do "protest" Pat by mocking him, we don't lie about things he's done and nearly everything that could resemble illegal activity and it's very minute, like texts he may get, is mitigated by his willingness to engage. Admin should point out not a single crime happens here and the bans he gave were proactive not reactive to avoid any impropriety, not in response to any. I'm sure Pat thinks the police can lock up Dan, Bam, or Honey Badger for the swats because they say mean things online and in tweets, but the court system needs some evidence. Pat tries hard to manufacture it, but in the end I think Pat called in the swats to sue the MPD and gain fame as a trollslayer. He's failed.
