I nearly died once. I was 19 years old, a reckless little punk at times, and I got in a very, very bad car accident. When I think of how much blood I lost, I get a shiver down my spine. I wasn't just afraid of dying at that moment - I felt it was inevitable, and the fact I couldn't do anything about it, was a hopelessness I never want to feel again.

That's why I started my Foundation, I was saved by strangers that I will never know, but donated their blood to other strangers they would never know. I survived because of faceless people, and as pithy as this may sound, maybe us faceless folk can help you too.

Look forward to the laughs. Reach out to those you trust, or resources that offer it. We don't want to lose you buddy. My memory at 19 rang through my head when I got really low after being fired from Genesis - even after losing my house, anytime I thought about just ending it all, I remembered that feeling.

Please, remember these words: don't try for that feeling, because lows can pass, just like highs. And at the end of the day, at least none of us are Anthony Cumia.

There's three legitimate reasons to kill yourself. First, if you're terminally ill with some painful disease and don't want to kneel the ball and run out the clock. Two, if you're a pedo. Three, if you want to commit a mass shooting or something to take innocent lives with you.

If you don't qualify for any of those categories (btw depression doesn't count as a terminal disease and jerking it to barely legal porn doesn't make you a pedo), don't do it. My buddy went through a really bad period and kratom helped him snap out of it, maybe try kratom?
