Yeah they take that seriously. We had a canadian goose in one of our aeration tanks. We couldn't get it out because it wouldn't leave its partner who was in the tank but dead so we called animal control. After 3 officers spent 3 hours to get it out to no avail. They eventually came to tell me they were waiting on a call from a judge giving them permission to kill it. When I asked why they said because of the law they can only put down a migratory bird in the field after a judge approves the request. They always have a judge and vet on call just for this purpose but it's really a last resort. Also one year an osprey made a nest on a construction crane and because they're not allowed to disturb an active nest until they move on it the project back about 8 months

The first time I fucked around with a BB gun I shot at the silhouette of a bird in a tree and plop, a fucking federally and state protected bird falls down. I fed it to a dog and told no one.

Anyone elses state set up fake bucks to catch hunters spotlighting deer at night? I knew a few guys in high school who shot a State DNR decoy that was automated and grazing in a field to look real. After they shot it and it didnt move they thought they missed so they shot it again and they said it was like a 15 man swat team stormed out of the woods in ghillie suits and shit and came out guns drawn. They got fuuuucked. Shooting out of a truck on public property off a public street with a spotlight. I think they all had their gun rights and hunting rights revoked for something crazy like 20 years. I forget. There was another case where a guy was killing deer and just cutting the backstraps off and trading it to an undercover for lbs of backstrap meat for meth. Fucking retarded asshole. They caught him with like 30 carcasses just on his property. I have no idea what happened to him.

I hate anyone they claims have some deep connection to nature because they killed something, or that they are some special warrior type. It’s not particularly hard and there’s absolutely nothing special about it.

i used to enjoy varmint hunting as a child but several incidents have changed my mind. shot a skunk who was minding its own business once & it screamed horribly & i couldn’t bring myself to do it ever again. shooting armadillos just feels senseless unless they’re causing property damage bc they’re so stupid/slow/blind. i’ve seen too many pet raccoon videos & could see enjoying them as a pet so they’re out too. all that being said, i do still get a kick out of seeing my dogs kill other animals bc they enjoy it & it’s just nature. they sniffed out a wild hog nest recently & killed all 5 piglets. you’re on notice, pat

I hate sport hunting, but I have zero issue with food hunting, in fact I encourage it. I've hunted and eaten my kills, I've also been around farm animal slaughter. I think it evens out the brain on how to feel about animals. I love animals and don't wish abuse on any kind, but I also realize that animals are not my children and I'm not a dog dad, or insist on taking pets with me to public places like restaurants or supermarkets. Emotional support animals are also for fags

I love taking my dogs with me when I go hog hunting. They’re not aggressive so they don’t get involved but they’re pretty good at finding them
