This does not look like the website of a man with fuck-you money.

How many high end law firms have this in the corner of their website?

Honestly I don't think he got fired. There's no shortage of retards with money who will pay to have unflattering things removed from the internet. Supposedly Quasi's lawyer already knew who he was so he probably has some clout in those circles
It’s possible of course but for an attorney of his age it’s extremely unlikely he would go out on his own unless he had no choice. There is vastly less value in working on your own over working for a firm unless you’re already extremely experienced and highly respected and even then you’re much more likely to work up to making partner rather than starting from scratch as the sole employee.

I get that Brinton is obviously an idiot based on everything he did when dealing with Pat but all signs point to being let go. Billable hours are great until people find out one of your attorneys used those hours to bilk a client for $100,000, cost them another $23,000+ on top of that and still completely failed to achieve anything after a year except being catfished and failing to properly advise the client at every turn.

Pat is a nightmare client for a young attorney who was clearly in way over his head but some friends I have who actually used their law degrees to practice law and work at legit firms laughed their asses off when I showed them the subpoena and explained the case to them. Judge Jig should have shut that shit down and spared him the embarrassment but Brinton blatantly lied to him to take advantage and keep it going. Now he’s pushing a website powered by GoDaddy where he can “probably” help if the moon is aligned with the stars exactly right. It might be his choice but I doubt it.

He absolutely got the heave ho. The Google search results based on his name alone make him unemployable at any firm. That cocksucking hog of a sister's online hoof print probably didn't help. Then there's the fact that he lied in court at least once and brought in an unwinnable vanity case. The 100k it generated is in no way worth the reputational damage it did.

"I can probably find out who anonymously posted something unlawful and help you get things off the web."

It's clear he is not working with a copy writer. He wrote that garbage himself. All kidding aside, isn't this exactly why you go to lawyer school? Not just to learn the law but to learn how to not sound like a mealy-mouthed jackoff?

Anyone with 30 minutes of training as a writer or editor would tell him to reword that.

Here, let me try: "I work tirelessly to remove libelous and unlawful material from the internet and make sure the responsible parties pay."

I'm not even a lawyer and I spent exactly one minute writing a statement that sounds 1000 times better than his. It's embarrassingly bad.
Don't help him!

I see four options:
  1. Fired for incompetence, embarrassingly losing Pat's case, and filing a ton of incorrect information in Pat's lawsuit (maybe Pat kept complaining to them?)
  2. Fired for illegally obtaining information via Pat and the mole
  3. Made so much money off Pat and the SFWA that he could start his own practice
  4. Fired for having a disgusting sister who talks about men cumming inside of her and sucking cock on social media
None of these are a good look for Pat!
Don't know how it works in the States but over here a solicitor at his level gets paid a salary and maybe gets a bonus if the firm has had a good year. The money he brought in from the SFWA goes to the firm not to him. And let's not forget he lost the case so there was no settlement pay out, i.e. his only chance for a percentage.

I bet you can't.

He has helped obtain six-figure settlements...
I though Fats only owes Quasi 5 figures?

Besides, why not brag about your wins like you used to, Brinton? Like that paedophile you helped out:
Convinced several news organizations to remove an online article about a sports coach who had been arrested for allegedly sending lewd texts to a high school student by emphasizing journalism ethics and convincing the outlets to weigh public interest and news value of an old story against the harm caused by continued publication of an outdated article

Or that other paedophile:
Persuaded a blogger to voluntarily remove a blog post about a former teacher that called attention to the teacher’s old criminal charges that had been sealed for more than 15 years.

Or that guy who narrowly dodged a sexual assault case that you helped hide:
De-indexed article from a national publication about autistic client accused of sexual-assault and found not guilty so that it would not show up in client’s search results.
(That's not saying he got it deleted - he didn't, the newspaper stood by it - just that he helped hide it from Google so the guy can regain the element of surprise).
