Lets not forget this piece:

Holy shit, I must have forgotten this. Unbelievable how much shady shit can be connected to Minc Law. I guess Resto got canned because he got sloppy. Basically any US law firm that makes the kind of wild promises Minc law does is probably going to be doing a mixture of this shit and just straight up bullying.

God Bless the 1st Amendment.

It's not like he had no choice and had to see the case through to the end. He could have bailed and passed the case on to senior members of his team. There were probably more seasoned lawyers at the firm who advised him that the case was a stinker but he slogged on anyway because he's stupid and greedy - and is someone who lies to judges(!) as we have seen. So fuck him. He deserved the firing. In fact, he got off easy. He really deserves to be disbarred and fined for his shenanigans.
He still might be - Quasi's awfully quiet since his double-victory with damages.

If Quasi alleges that the Sue's Alamo information that Brinton said he sighted as true, and submitted into evidence, was "unauthorised" as defined by the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, then Brinton and Fats could be facing felony jail time. Bear in mind that Brinton and Fats were in different states at the time; Pat probably just sent him the exploit with "click here" on it, to his (now archived) Minc Law account.

Good luck paying off your wine law degree at whatever job hires convicted felons, Brinton!

If you haven't heard that theory before, I will personally find the NotALawyer post where he clipped that out of one of Brinton's filings, or I will go through the archive of court filings until I find it.

Fuck it: it's Brinton's July 14th "SUPPLEMENTAL DECLARATION OF BRINTON J. RESTO IN OPPOSITION TO PETITIONER JOHN DOE 1’S MOTION TO QUASH AND REQUEST FOR SANCTIONS" in Wisconsin; bottom of page two/top of page three:

There should be a version of the original post submitted to the court as Exhibit 2-C.

Now, I ain't no lawyer - but that's Brinton saying the evidence he's submitted from that URL is true and correct; not that Fatrick pinkie-swore it was.

That means either Quasi gave him access to the super-secret forum; or Quasi didn't, and Fatrick and Brinton used the exploit
SpaceEdge gave them, which runs them afoul of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, an act that been called "draconian" and "America's worst law" and will get them up to ten years in Federal prison. There's also an option for civil damages, according to Minc Law's page on it.

If you're in contact with Quasi, and he doesn't know all that, please let him know.

If you're in contact with Quasi, and he's pursuing that line, please let us know. 😈
