I bet he had one of those packages where it’s a discount rate for two years with a contract. Piggy assured Niki two years ago they would have no problem paying the full amount once the special ended because he would have a new book contract, tv appearances, books adapted to tv series (remember bigger than netflix?) by then would be a star after becoming the face of cyber stalking and the man that beat the trolls.

I'm hardly struggling financially myself but almost 3 grand a year for shitty TV does seem a bit steep to be fair to the pig. Of course he has to try to tie in a virtue signal when he could just say that it's not worth the money.

I have Spectrum here in LA. That starting price is a new services promotion. If you have tv, and internet from Spectrum it runs about $180/mo after your promos ice out. I really only keep cable for Sports. Not enough Live sports on stream yet to entice me. Plus the three biggest sports streaming apps (ESPN+, Fox Sports and Peacock) require you to have a tv plan and subscribe to their channels, plus pay them extra to stream. Lol. Then again if you’re a fat blob in Milwaukee and only care about the NFL and MLB (and conveniently the NBA when the local team is in the finals) I suppose you don’t need much access for live sports.

The only reason to keep cable is for live sports. I know there's apps that stream live games but trust me if you're living in the sticks with wifi that at best bursts 5mbps you'll be so frustrated trying to stream a live game that buffers every 30 seconds you'll kick in your screen.
