I just listened to Carnivore's first album today, i need some time to process it, lol.

Steele really doesn't mince words does he, really interesting lyrics.

I have to get used to his singing style, i really like it when he mixes things up a little, like in Male Supremacy, around the 3:30 mark, that switch up really suprised me in a positive way, that track really is my favorite on the album.

I plan to relisten to it a few more times, i often need to hear music multiple times to truly grasp it.

His vocals on the break on Male Supremacy and the music are essentially a preview of Type O Negative. His vocals and lyrics on the first record were a take no prisoners approach. I prefer the second album, but Thermonuclear Warrior & Legion of Doom are favorites of mine. I love that the first album is primarily Mad Max inspired. There’s that on Retaliation but not as much as they abandoned the post apocalyptic outfits and throwing raw meat at crowds by then.

His take no prisoners approach really fits the mood and lyrics, but i really like those switch ups, so i'm glad to hear it's a bit of a preview of what's to come

I also really like God is Dead, especially the instumentation on the chorus.

Steele really doesn't waste any time, he immediately comes barging in with those brutal vocals, lol.

You have to listen to Type O’s cover songs too. Black Sabbath and Summer Breeze (Seals & Croft) are the ones most people know, but they did Hey Joe (as Hey Pete), Daytripper (Beatles), Angry Inch (from Hedwig & the Angry Inch), and other ones I’m too lazy to look up. They slow Black Sabbath to an enjoyable dirge. They made each cover theirs. Carnivore covered Manic Depression on Retaliation.

I played the “I love to eat pussy!” part on a date with a female Peter Steele fan back in the day. She dug it and put out. Thanks Pete!
That's great, i think playing this song to someone and watching their reaction gives you a great indication of that person.

If they get all offended i want nothing to do with them.

His delivery of those lyrics really brings it to another level.

I think that women should enjoy it. Wolfmoon is another song Pete wrote about eating pussy. It’s on Type O Negative’s ‘October Rust’.

I wonder if it was a ripoff, because at 3:30 on Master of Puppets the same thing happens. Carnivore's debut is 1985, MOP is 1986.

Probably. Metallica definitely knew who Carnivore were as they always played L’Amour when in Brooklyn, which was Carnivore’s home club. It was a legendary metal & hard rock club in the northeast and Peter Steele was known for being a regular in the crowd & on stage.

Just me and The Alliance boyz livin' it up with The Alliance gurlz

The Alliance boyz truly are living the good life, compare us to those sad Silverstoners, Brooke Shields fags and whoever that underage cunt i keep hearing about is.

That's great, love The Beach Boys tribute!

Another band i have to check out, Carnivore, Type-O Negative, Nick Cave, Rammstein, the list keeps growing.
