What's a good pistol for mag dumping porch monkeys who break into my home?
There are no major differences between any modern striker fired browning tilting lock action handguns. They all work 99.99% of the time and are accurate. It’s just about price/use/preferences. Go to a gun store with a range and shoot a few and buy brand name (Glock, Ruger, S&W, Springfield Armory, SIG, FN, HK etc.) one that you find comfortable to shoot.

Going to get my first pistol, leaning towards the CZ75 SP01 Tactical because I like the Hi-Power system, fits my hand well and it has a decocker. Thoughts? Should I just get a Glock instead? Is my buddy retarded for buying a Sig P320? I'll hang up and listen.
Nothing wrong with that if it’s what you want, they are extremely accurate and have wonderful triggers. If it’s for carry though or going to be your only gun go with something much lighter.

Nothing wrong with the P320 but it’s a duty sized handgun and has quite a high bore axis. I didn’t find shooting them interesting but it wasn’t bad.

Not for carry, my job kinda precludes that and I'd get something more compact if I wanted to go that way. I use my rapist wit to defend myself against evildoers. Thoughts on 10mm? Seems to me like a good compromise between power and round size, though of course I want a Colt Python for home defense and as a masturbation aid.

Thanks to major advances in projectile design against humans there are no major differences between 9mm/.40/.45. Of these 9mm has the highest capacity and is easiest to shoot so it’s the most popular. 10mm is much harder to shoot so I wouldn’t recommend it as a defensive round unless it’s for a specific job like animals or something. BUT if you’re good at shooting it and can afford it and want to then go for it. It doesn’t matter.

Here’s something that might save someone some money: if you’re buying a red dot for a pistol don’t worry about getting a circle dot. I deliberately bought a model that lets you choose between circle-dot, circle, and dot but I’ve already changed it to just dot. Might be useful for rifle though idk.

I have tiny hands so I can only shoot subcompact 380s. My first gun was a Hellcat (a Springfield 9mm) and over time I had to admit the distance from the grip to the trigger was simply too great. I'm most happy with my Glock 42. The accuracy is amazing.

This is why .380s have remained commercially viable forever. There are just large portions of the population with small hands (men too). You should check out those Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0s if you get the chance. I think they look nice as fuck.

Isn't that a double stack though? If so, the grip would definitely be too wide. I have to contend with a single stack but that's fine; it'll still have stopping power (especially with a mag dump).
