Yeah that game looks great but I'm giving it some time before I play it. If someone remade SS2 and expanded the space station and exploration so it was a 30 hour game I'd bust a nut.

the ss1 remake was successful enough to where they're moving forward with a ss2 remake; though, I don't know if they'll expand upon its base at all. that ss1 remake is so faithful that you can complete it with a walkthrough of the '94 game, so I imagine they will take a similar approach with the sequel

It's worse. Want to take off from a planet? Too bad here's a load screen while you fast travel to space. Want to fly to a planet and land? Too bad here is a load screen while you fast travel. Want to learn a specific skill with that skill point you just got? Too bad you have to waste it on 8 other skills just to access the one you want.

Whoever thought it was a cool design choice to make airlocks take 15 seconds plus to cycle then put them literally everywhere should be taken out back behind the game studios and given the ol'yeller treatment.

I called it right from the beginning on the "1,000 planets" talking point they were pushing so hard. I knew there might be a bunch of planets, but they'd be uninteresting and boring. Now the devs are coming out and saying "Well the planets are meant to be boring..."
