Just watched this on Netflxi and what a boring piece of shit. Halle Berry stinks and for someone who is an MMA fan she really doesn't seem to understand the sport at all. The whole movie only has one actual fight scene and the rest of it is about her trying to revive her career and get out of the slums while caring for this retard son she learns she has. It's just a shitty Rocky ripoff with every sport movie cliche you've seen before. They even have to force a lesbian romance with her African trainer and of course the white ex boyfriend is abusive. At this point I'm convinced Netflix will just pick up any original film they can get their hands on no matter how terrible it is.

Spielberg's first film, also his best, a tv movie called Duel, available in its entirety on a little known site called YouTube.

Enjoy your evening!

I watched the new Michael Bay movie Ambulance last night. It was alright I guess. Was nice to see an R rated action movie that was 2 hours of just non-stop action and Michael Bay losing his shit which is when he's at his best. Reminded me of some of the action blockbusters you'd see in the early 90's.

American Movie. Documentary about a guy from Milwaukee that wants to get funding for a movie so he finishes a horror short film he has been working on for 2 years. Both funny and inspirational as gay as that sounds. Much more successful than that fat fuck in Milwaukee. Before that I watched Windy City Heat for the first time and it watched pretty good.
That moment where he gets a credit card and shouts "KICK FUCKING ASS!" always sticks with me. A legitimate classic.

Amadeus. Forgot how great it was. For a 3 hour biopic you really can't find anything more entertaining. One of the few movies that actually deserved Oscars.
I've been meaning to revisit that for a while.

I watched it 15 years ago and didn't really remember anything about it but after rewatching it I think I just picked a shitty time in my life 15 years ago because it's an unforgettable masterpiece.
That's one of those movies my parents loved and owned on VHS and I saw but didn't even slightly appreciate until I got old enough to do so. I think I've seen it two or three times in its entirety but only once when I was mature enough to recognize how good it is and I think I'd really enjoy it more now. That's on my to do list next week.

Make sure it's the Directors Cut although I'm not sure you can get the Theatrical cut anymore.
