I agree with whoever said Master and Commander and No Country for Old Men.

I’ll add in an underrated pick also by the Coens: A Serious Man. Some here may not be able to get beyond the Jewishness of it, but it’s great. Just the goy’s teeth scene alone is worth the watch.

And for a possibly controversial choice, I’ll add in Birdman. I know many will shit on it, but I’ll watch it whenever it comes on.

It had no business being as good as it was, it actually captured the feel of the original. I thought that was an atmosphere long gone with CGI and focus groups, not to mention a 30 year sequel.
