I've told all kinds of Hollywood stories. Not a lot of people know this, but I'm gonna let you in on it, sport: Do you know how Ron Glass died? No joke, a fucking anvil fell on his head and smushed him like a pancake. I was there. It was just like the cartoons except he lived for about 20 minutes in an excruciating hell. I tried to pull on his afro real hard to maybe straighten him out again but it didn't work. He was literally just a flat circle on the ground with Ron Glass's face, but crushed. I'll never forget the spine-chilling gurgling screams as the paramedics shoveled him off the pavement and into a dumpster. I said "Hey! You can't just leave my friend Ron Glass in the garbage like some piece a garbage!" They said "Maybe we oughta put YOU in there, old man!" I said "Old man? I'm beloved pop culture icon and legend of the stage and screen, Abe Vigoda!" They apologized profusely and had me sign a bunch of medical equipment for their kids. Blood bags and bed pans and shit like that. We'd chatted for about half an hour when I realized I'd gotten sidetracked and left my dear black friend Ron to die a painful death alone in a heap of trash. How often do you see a huge anvil suspended by a crane just on the sidewalk? Not very fucking often, I bet. I can't sleep without a fan on or I still hear him screaming.

You know how his cause of death is listed? Respiratory failure. Yeah, respiratory failure from having a goddamned anvil dropped on his head.

Doing alright. Chemo seems to be working but still remains to be seen if it will work good enough that I can get liver surgery. I’ll be going out for second opinions myself after my next CT scan in a couple days.
