John Adams should be looked upon higher in the USA and the only reason he’s not is because Jefferson and his democracy loving cabal slandered him for having the nerve to deport dirty British “people” and lock up opponents of the government.
It should be noted the only reason Jefferson vehemently opposed these laws wasn’t because of “Democracy” but because they would burn his own ass. While he was working in the Washington administration he was hiring ghostwriters to shit on the Federalists, Washington, and Adams. When said ghostwriter was going to go on trial to testify against Jefferson, he mysteriously “drowned” in a shallow lake. This was after said dude wrote in the papers that Jefferson had a little chimp baby with his teenage slave. Jefferson was legitimately the first Epstein.
