Are you a poorfag? I'm not pretending, the president has had no impact on my life ever in any way i can quantify.

My dad died and I had to quickly come up with a lot of money to keep the family home, mostly to take care of other family who had to live there. I sold my apartment and basically bought the house. Now I make double what I made when I bought that apartment and I couldn’t afford that place anymore.

I’m not rich, I’m not poor but I do think it’s obvious to me things are worse now. If the above didn’t happen I would remain as the person who never votes and thinks nothing effects me and it doesn’t matter.

So much of your life is down to circumstances and blind luck, some people bought houses when the market collapsed or refinanced at historic low interest rates, other people invest at the right time and place and make a lot of money, other people are forced to cash out at the worse time.

There’s an old confidence scam where someone would send 10,000 people stock picks by fax, and each time the advice paid off they would discard the others and send more, eventually you’re left with 50 people who think you’re a stock picking god and will hand over everything.

That’s what society is now, being in the right place at the right time and assigning it 100% to your own brilliance, or actually just insider trading like politicians do.

To actually make a point here, Bidens economy is good. Our three major stock indexes are at all time highs, aka companies are making money, investors are making money, and 401ks are going up. However, the reason people say Trumps years were better, and I don’t blame them for thinking this, is inflation. Our economy saw us go from like 21% unemployment to 3-4% unemployment. With that naturally comes inflation. Of course, we’re being hit the least compared to other countries, but i understand why people worry about the economy under Biden. Because when they go to the store everything costs a shit ton and the blame falls on him, fair or not.

Of course, there is no counter answer to “What would Trump do about this?” If there is its one usually rooted in “When he was President…” and just saying shit like “Manufacturing was up!”, ignoring the insane amount of national debt he incurred in 4 years (rivaling Obamas 8) which, of course, contributes to the fucking inflation we have now. I could not tell you what Trumps platform is not because I don’t know about it but because there just isn’t one except these vagaries.

I hope you realize judges don’t determine if someone is guilty or not. Didn’t you all call me a retard for this. If you read the transcripts of the trial at all you would realize the judge has carried this out extremely impartially. Wow, he’s a Democrat, almost like that’s a consequence of us having weirdly partisan judges in the USA. Wow, his daughter donated to Democrats, and the courts found that wasn’t necessary for a recusal. You would know any of this if you knew anything about the trial at all.
