Schulman is a Democrat he was appointed by Gray Davis. However when it comes to tech law, he seems to always require a large burden of proof for the plaintiff.

He definitely didn’t like some of the rascaldry we were pulling, but Patrick and his Milton Wadams impersonator attorney didn’t do anything to prove defamation happened. He pointed out repeatedly that he felt Patrick was just filing the suit to file the suit.

I don’t think Jerry dropped the ball at all. This judge pro-tem seemed to be underprepared and in-familiar with how collecting judgements worked. Hopefully the actual Judge takes more time to follow the guidelines. Jerry Jen did a great job of telling the clueless Judge Pro-Tem what the law actually states.
