So i’ve done a couple of autistic evaluations of the boys arguments. This one isn’t an argument but lets look back on it like, 7 years later, starting with Anthonys side:

Greggshells was unnecessary and didn’t need to happen. Pretty much the ENTIRE reason it happened was because Ant was high off of support from the subreddit. If you weren’t around for the old sub, everyone was galvanized against Opie and thought of Ant as “the good one”. When I first watched Greggshells, I thought of it as necessary. These dudes have had a 20 year relationship, Ant has building resentment, let everyone know whats going on!

The problem is is that this wasn’t “letting everyone know whats going on”, it’s a “Lets shit on Opie” party, despite Ant saying thats not what it is. Ant’s criticisms of Opie are half and half. The bullshit?: Opie being demanding and snapping at interns, or being the boss, etc. I believe Opie when he says he improved on this. It reeks of shit that happened 15 years ago that bothered Ant and he never got past it. One of the only fair criticisms in this entire episode is saying Gregg can’t take criticism or jokes. It’s the reason why the whole Opie vs Jim first fight happened.

But the biggest gripe Anthony has is the most bitch made one. The girlfriend shit. Holy fuck, grow up. I understand how your best friend being mean to your girlfriend can hurt you, but how can Ant act like this is unexpected? They all had a foursome relationship with their wives, Ant starts banging an intern blowing teenager and he expects Opie to just not have a problem with this? Even if his wife wasn’t friends with Ants ex it would still be extremely fucking weird. Especially when Opie talks about how Melissa would be sitting on Ants lap during the show. Yuck. You are a broadcaster, not a teenager or John Lennon.

But something that Ant spends WAY TOO MUCH time on in this episode is the contract negotiation bullshit. I don’t believe Ant for a second when he says he thought Opie was gonna leave. Was it annoying? Sure. But to act like you have anxiety and fear being fired? What the fuck are you talking about? Especially when Ant considered himself the more important, funny one, what WOULD be your problem if Opie walked away? And Opie makes a great rebuttal to this: If Anthony legitimately thought Opie was going to leave, HE SHOULD HAVE CALLED HIM. You guys are fucking buisness partners - why are you acting like women?

Now Opie’s response:

Opie’s response isn’t too bad but it has a few problems.

1. Opie cries on air about his radio partner. This is pathetic.
2. Opie tries to rebut what Anthony is saying, and claims Anthony took a shot at his wife, but he didn’t even fucking watch the broadcast and some of the shit he tries to respond to is strawmanning because Ant never said it.
3. Opie claims he never put anybodies job at jeopardy. Then asks one of his EMPLOYEES if he felt that way. He obviously says no because of the Greggshells walk. Not really supporting what he’s trying to say at all.

But Opie probably has the biggest point here. No matter how much of a sensitive, bossy bitch Opie was, he wasn’t a pedophile racist drunk. Opie is on the fucking mark when he says Sirius XM had a problem with the racist rants and hungover shows.

Anthonys response to this is PATHETIC. He blows off coming into the show hungover or not showing up because he’s a drunkard. Like it’s not a big problem to miss your fucking million dollar job because you love alcohol. It’s even more infuriating when you listen to old Lady Di calls and hear Ant berate her for being an irresponsible drunk. His response to the race shit is even more pathetic. “IT’S SATELLIETE RADIO WE CAN SAY ANYTHING!!” Yes. You can get on air and say suck a fucking dick. But if you say Suck a fucking dick nigger it is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. Sure, the FCC won’t get you, but the liberals will. This was like right around when cancel culture started, and Ant is surprised that he can’t get on air and talk about race science?? Even Opie brings this up in his response.

The final thing i’ll touch on is the FH Rileys incident. This is UNDENIABLY ANTS FAULT. This fucking wop showed up to this dingy Long Island shithole and expected to be treated like the President. Should he have been taken care of? Of course. But taking to twitter and shitting on the resturant when you KNOW your fans both hate Opie and will review bomb these places is fucked. You’re basically sabotaging and creating bad blood for NOTHING when you can just text your partner to text his brother and take care of you. But Ant is a little baby cunt and could never confront someone like that. And Ant acts miffed and doesn’t understand why Opie would be mad at him, and then doesn’t understand why Opie would be pissed at Ant slyly calling him a cunt to Jimmy - WHILE THEYRE IN THE SAME ROOM. Above all else, both of these episodes proved that Anthony is just such a fucking bitch.
