- He also filed 2 frivolous restraining orders against people who had engaged in First Amendment-protected behavior (one for texting him and another for attending his contempt of court hearing), both of which were dismissed.
- Early on in the lawsuit, Mr. Tomlinson vandalized his own motorcycle and submitted a false police report blaming the people he was suing.
- He accidentally sent surveillance video of the alleged vandal (himself) to a troll.
- Mr. Tomlinson has never shown this video footage during any of his media tours, and desperately tries to scrub it from the internet.
- Mr. Tomlinson claims that the surveillance video was initiated by his "motion-activated" camera, which only collects "30 seconds at a time", despite the video being 32 seconds long and beginning several seconds before the "vandal" enters into the frame.
- On 13 April 2023, the individual responsible for calling the fake emergencies (SWATs) to Mr. Tomlinson's house, a SWAT-for-hire dealer named "Torswats", revealed that Mr. Tomlinson ordered the SWATs to his own house because he wanted to get in the news and sue the MPD for money.
- Torswats would repeat these allegations in private chats which were not intended for public view.
- Mr. Tomlinson has gone on multiple news tours since the SWATtings started in order to promote his victimhood brand, utilizing the services of Lenora Claire.
- He also recently sued the MPD for money.

His attorneys participated in a Netflix documentary wherein the subject of the documentary had an active lawsuit against Manitowac (WI) county PD for being WRONGFULLY IMPRISONED for 18 YEARS. In the middle of the lolsuit, the subject was arrested for murder, was offered a tiny settlement by the city while awaiting his murder trial, and the documentary basically posits that the subject was framed for murder so the city could get out of the lolsuit. They make a very convincing case even if most people here still think the guy was actually guilty of murder.
In Pat's case, it's not crazy to think that he anticipates being arrested for ordering all the swats to his house from Torswats, so he files a lolsuit against the MPD and hires the same fucking lawyers from the Netflix show to get ahead of it, so that when he is eventually arrested, he can say "Look! They're retaliating against me because I filed a lawsuit against them! They have a history of doing this!"
Don't forget they also allegedly hired that Public Relations woman with the pink hair for their media blitz to sell their bullshit "Most Swatted People Ever" story.

The Judge has set the deadline for the parties to settle or not before a trial date is set. First deadline for settlement agreement is November 15, this year.

I watch a lot of body cam YouTube videos and every other arrestee thinks they know the law better than the cops. The most common comments are "If I'm not under arrest, you can't detain me" and "You have to read me my rights", even when the cops aren't questioning the suspect.

This lawsuit is based on the “threat” of kicking down their door unless they complied so they can confirm everyone in the house is ok. He’s suing the city over a cop telling them he would break their door down and they didn’t break down said door.
They didn’t put him in handcuffs - the majority of the lawsuit is the police making threats that they didn’t even follow through with.
