It was always best when it was basically dumb kids doing dumb kid shit. I think back to times when I could have died because of rock fights, or hitting the back of my head on fire hydrants, or doing the simple version of what we saw in jackass and that's a lot funnier than what they're doing now. One of the guys we hung out with was one of those kids who was like 6'2 in middle school and was kind of a bully. I'm glad he never hit any of us in the face with a rock because it would have fucked us up.
Once as a kid at camp during a pillow fight I thought it would be hilarious to put my flashlight in my pillowcase and hit a kid over the head with it. He went down kike a ton of bricks and I immediately knew I fucked up. Luckily no one noticed him for like 30 seconds and I'd already hid my flashlight. He got up crying and we all called him a bitch from getting hurt from a pillow fight. I still think about how fucking stupid that was to do to my friend.

I hit my best friend in the head with a bat when we were eleven or twelve. We were in a tight area and he told me to take a practice swing so I asked him to back up because he was way too close. Fucking idiot was adamant that he was far enough away so I finally shrugged and cracked him a good one. He went down pretty hard but I brought him around before his mom got home.

They tried to make Kathleen Kennedy a sympathetic character at the end and implied that Cartman made her the way she is and she made Cartman the way he is. I haven't followed South Park in years but Cartman seems to have been watered down a lot now. They also had Stan & Kyle defend the Miles Morales Spiderman which was pretty pozzed.

South Park has always presented 2 sides of a political or cultural issue, mocking them relentlessly and tried to find a compromise. You were expecting a show that never existed.
