I agree the show has seen better days but that “Post-Covid” special a couple years ago was pretty damn good
DMCA, complaints, and other inquiries:
I don't like the long story arcs, I miss when Cartman had a probe in his ass as the plotSounds far fetched. It's a potentially good premise, but it's at least few years late at this point (like all their commentary since ~2010) and will likely be overwrought and ultimately unsatisfying. They lost the ability to have nuanced jokes and multi-layered storylines and I lost interest.
I stopped paying any attention to the show around season 17, so I can only imagine it's gotten even less funny and more insidiously political since then. God damn, I remember being hyped for a week waiting on the next episode. Watching Wendy get breast implants was a pivotal moment, fast forward to... this? I hope when I lose it someone is kind enough to kill me on the spot. (inb4 "hold still")
Tegridy Farms was pretty funny. I think I’m a few seasons behind.I don't like the long story arcs, I miss when Cartman had a probe in his ass as the plot
What lawsuit? After the absolute embarrassment that was the last season, which I'm think was an intentional bomb to devalue the show due to an ongoing lawsuit, they're overdue for a win
Basically, i could be misremembering so don't quote me on this, they oversold the show, they sold it "exclusively" to both HBO and Paramount. They used a loophole where they could make "movies" (long episodes) for one and actual seasons (only 6 episodes) for the other. This caused a massive shit storm, as it should have, and everyone sued everyoneWhat lawsuit?

That makes sense. I was wondering why it was on both.Basically, i could be misremembering so don't quote me on this, they oversold the show, they sold it "exclusively" to both HBO and Paramount. The cut to Kenny and Kyle's dad fighting in the sand pit, with cat piss all over their face, brilliant
It's the only anime that won't turn you into a pedophileI'm glad we're all on the same page.
The Good Times with Weapons episode is one of the funniest episodes in the series.
My favorite from a conceptual stand is "you're getting old" it's so bizarre and just... dark. For absolutely no reason.I'm glad we're all on the same page.

But they made fun of female ghostbusters in 2016This would have been something a couple years ago, it’s like they waited so it’s now “safe” to make fun of. Female ghostbusters was 2016 yet here they are making fun of this in 2023
Little Mermaid... Snow White... its still relatively relevant (I just want the show to be good again)This would have been something a couple years ago, it’s like they waited so it’s now “safe” to make fun of. Female ghostbusters was 2016 yet here they are making fun of this in 2023
