I remember walking downtown with my crippled old grandfather one time when I was little and some dirtball hawked a loogie on the ground in front of me on the sidewalk and he made the guy come scrape it off the ground with his fingers. That was awesome.

Another time he picked me up from school and some kids were having a snowball fight. A snowball hit the car, he yelled at the kids and then pulled up to this crossing guard and was like "YOU'RE JUST GONNA STAND HERE WHILE THESE LITTLE SHITS PELT CARS WITH SNOWBALLS?" The guy was like "I'm just a crossing guard, mister." And he was like "THAT'S RIGHT YOU'RE JUST A FUCKING CROSSING GUARD! ALL YOU'LL EVER BE!" That guy is no joke, legitimately still a crossing guard at the same intersection.
