It would be good to see under the total a small breakdown
Costs:
Fixed Legal Costs Awarded: $
Profit:
Interest Earned to date: $
Interest in Meatloaf Units: N
Equivalent Twitter Blue Check until: [updating future date]

every month Pat doesnt pay his bill, costs him 3 years of blue check mark...

Where the fuck are my UPDATES? FUCK.

I looked up what a united healthcare salesman makes and I'm actually pretty shocked. Thought it would be closer to 40k. Maybe Quasi can recoup after all.

Last I looked into it, he's a part timer working with medicare enrollments during open enrollment in October and January. Essentially he makes his money talking seniors into enrolling in a different medicare plan. There are ethical ways to do this, (IE - Changing them to a plan that covers a specific prescription, and newly eligible seniors) but it mostly is just cold calling old people and trying to get them to change from one plan to a nearly identical plan to collect a commission. A full time agent, would be selling group health to entire businesses and being paid to enroll employees in optional various additional plans like life insurance, accident insurance, etc. Working on grifting seniors by re-enrolling them is seasonal and I doubt he's breaking $30k.

All elements of this - especially the making $30k part - check out to me.

Good to see you again Martin, hope you had a great Thanksgiving and that you will have a wonderful Christmas as well.

Holy shit welcome back. You think Nikki pays for all the bills and everything, and Pat $30k is all of his spending allowance for the entire year?

Also it makes sense his 6 figure argument because technically 30k over 3 months extrapolates to that over the year.

Hi, Martin! I too want to wish you well and hope you're having a wonderful Christmas season so far. In case you missed them, there are some great highlights in the "Qadan's Comedy Collection" section.

Thank you, and same to you.
It's all elements of that, plus here's the kicker. The plans are an easy sell because most of the policies issued are Medicare Advantage. They have a 0$ premium. There are some medicare supplements that actually incur a cost, but the Medicare Advantage that automatically renews each year unless the client changes their plan basically pays a commission every January. How does it produce a commission with a $0 premium? The government pays the insurer, and the insurer gives the agent a percentage as their commission. Basically, the money Pat does earn is corporate welfare. The product is free, he gets a finders fee from the insurer for signing people up. This among other reasons is why I haven't renewed my Life & Health insurance licenses since 2020 (I was required by a previous employer to get them) and instead work strictly with Property and Casualty Insurance full-time. (Which are much more difficult licenses to obtain, more complicated to work with and more lucrative I might add)

TLDR - Whatever money his wife isn't giving him, or that isn't tied to his writing is pretty much being given to him, by Taxpayers like us.

I appreciate your kind words and hope you are enjoying the season as well. I pop in here a few times a month, but I lurk far more often than I post. I'm pretty long-winded as it is, so unless I have something significant to add, I'm content to observe and receive my laughter nourishment from the lolcow.

@Martin glad to see you’re still around man. I knew you were a good dude when we pointed out your flaws and picked on you and you pretty much said “ya youre right. that was kinda gay of me but i realize the error in my ways. But its whatever. Im trying to change You guys are still hilarious and i dont care about your politics or whatever. Im just here to laugh”. Thats a real ass dude take on the situation. So much more rational than 99.99% of people that end up on this board. Id like to club the handful of people that were on the hate martin train.

Now that's what I call some hard-hitting analysis. How do you know he's only doing it part time? So he basically just sits at home cold calling the elderly and sells them welfare? Figures.
