I’ll tell you exactly what my pain is right now, I’m tired and burned out, and I worry about every possible outcome for every possible situation and I try to resolve the issues of everybody close to me at my cost all the time.
I don’t know how to stop, and sometimes it means I can’t sleep, then I take Xanax and I worry about getting used to them again, so I worry about that and it’s harder to sleep.
It comes in waves, I can handle it all without any issues at all for a long time, then I can’t and I feel like I’d rather just be dead, then I can.
Jesus isn’t some hippy love potion magical fix, you don’t just become whole immediately (maybe some do) but I can tell you with utmost importance he’s always there and you can always find rest and refuge in him, even when it doesn’t take your pain away.
