the other day I youtube'd "born to run" based on a comment in this thread. It's completely forgettable, it sounds like a less good version of "LIKE A ROCK" chevy commercial but so long it wears out its welcome before 30 seconds pass

Indeed. I will re-iterate though: Spirit in the Night(specifically 1975 Hammersmith video) is fucking dope.

Also:

Dude wrote "Blinded by The Light" that Manfredd Mann redid. Like Bob Dylan tons of his songs are better by other people. "Downbound Train" is great done by The Smithereens.
