In the EU, tourist visas go "90 days out of last 180" and doing the full 90 means you are out for another 90. I don't know about US rules but that is insta-deport even in gay europe. What kind of re-entry ban will he get?

In terms of bans, he could be facing anything from the mildest "we're sending you back, but not barring you from re-entry, don't fuck around again", to the strongest "We're convicting you of deliberately attempted to defraud immigration, you will face up to five years in US federal prison, sent back to your home country after your sentence, and be given a lifetime ban from visiting the US or applying for visas". There's lots of things in-between, but generally US visa-bans are severe, they don't even go away if you get citizenship with another country that has a visa waiver agreement with the US.

I have to imagine that even just having the “we pulled this guy and held him for 48 hours” note on his immigration record is enough to have him pulled aside every single time he tries to enter the country going forward.

I stayed 135 consecutive days last year in spain planning to mention the bilateral agreement bullshit but they didnt even bat an eye when i left out of barcelona. then again they're literal inbred catalonian retards there, american customs wont let that fly.
those guys always make me sweat coming back into the country for no reason at all, i would assume ooga booga smells like fupa is f u c k e d
