I dont know shit about fuck, but is it normal to split this many hairs during a trial? What's the point other than to demoralize and annoy everyone? Is this how it always was or is it some new autistic way of arguing cases now?

Oh btw, being judged by a jury of my "peers" is probably the most terrifying prospect tbqhwy

Yes that’s exactly who I was thinking of but couldn’t remember which trial it was. In my mind I just kept seeing that gruff defense attorney who had the same name as a tea brand
What's even worse is the judge went along with a reading of the law that wasn't accurate, if I remember right. She let the prosecutors grossly misstate how to apply the law from the jury instructions. I think she recognized that with her sentencing but she should not have had to do any time

Closing statements from the defense nailed it. He’s going to walk free. Life ruined but better than a life sentence
The jury question has me thinking there's 1-2 holdouts and the rest wanted to make her watch the video to point out some aspect that she's getting wrong.
Only thing I would have changed is he should have pounded home the fact that if they have any reasonable doubt that the state disproved his claim of self defense, they have to start there and find him not guilty. That has to be any basis of a verdict

I think reviewing the video is great for the defense. Should know by tomorrow the verdict

Earl gray won that case. The chink judge should have been taken off the bench for letting the prosecution get away with that
