I can shoot 6 doe and 2 buck per season. The does ill usually just firld dress/cut the backstrap off and maybe a hind quarter or two and leave the rest. The buck ill bring home and actually butcher it correctly. Does are just a nuisance at this point. Ill usually only kill a buck if its a huge 8pt+ just because how cool they are. Or if theres an aggressive older male killing younger bucks ill blast that cranky old fucker. I can get a good 60lbs of meat off a good big buck. It’s free food. And its really not that difficult where i hunt.

In my culture only the extremely posh and gypsies hunt. The posh do it on horse back dressed up in red coats and use dogs to chase a fox which seems pretty evil to me. It's literally sport for them.

You also get grose/pheasant shooting which doesn't look like much fun to me. I have a lot of wild pheasant near me and it's not like they are particularly intelligent animals

Gypsies use dogs to "rat" out rabbits and hares. I don't get the urge to want to kill little animals tbh. I probably should be a veggie but I like the taste enough to forget the whole killing stuff.

I really want to hunt, but I have no room for a deer carcass and my parents don't really either. I still try to track whenever I'm in the woods just to pretend I'm doing something. Same for looking at mushrooms, though at least I can eat those if I wanted.

I enjoy hunting, I don't hunt for sport though if I kill it, I eat it. I've never hunted deer, frankly I think deer are gross and don't want to eat them.
I've gone boar hunting but I was just standing around in the cold woods all day. I've done much more bird hunting and I enjoy that much more.

I had it once in a stew and it wasn't good. I've never hunted in the USA except for fishing (also a great hobby) and deer are extremely rare in Greece so they've never really been on my radar.
