I’m just gonna get implants when my teeth fall out
DMCA, complaints, and other inquiries:
If you have bone loss you can't get implants. Need healthy bone and gums to hold them in. If you don't take care of your teeth you will have bone loss eventually.I’m just gonna get implants when my teeth fall out
I'm intrigued by this.Learn to do some fillings / rebuild any chipped teeth... it's another useful apocalypse skill anyway

have fun spending $20k+ minimum per arch, or $3-6k per single tooth. Or just fix the shit you currently have and take care of it.I’m just gonna get implants when my teeth fall out
It's the wild west when it comes to their pricing. Getting my mum new teeth would be around £500 - £5000 per tooth.have fun spending $20k+ minimum per arch, or $3-6k per single tooth. Or just fix the shit you currently have and take care of it.
Implants are very expensive. Full dentures are much less expensive but they're uncomfortable and not permanent. When I eventually lose my teeth I'll need dentures because I don't have the bone to support implants. It's the wild west when it comes to their pricing. They always try to get me to buy implants so it must be fineAny bone loss or just tooth decay?
a mix of both; understanding the basic principles but there are also professional dentists on YT who show their methods.I'm intrigued by this.
Did you wing it? Or get some help like YT video?. My dentist took me to the cleaners after the pandemic. Fucker.
can you not get the bone graft? it's basically just bone-powder stitched in-place & the blood vessels bind it in-place & it becomes solid (hopefully), then they can screw-in implantsI I don't have the bone to support implants.
you might be able to get 'all on 4' implants; only takes 4 implant-screws to take rigidly & the upper arch can be mounted on those. Works-out cheaper but can be sturdy if done properly... best to let things heal & get sturdy. Sometimes people get 'em done cheaper abroad so hurry the procedureIt's the wild west when it comes to their pricing. Getting my mum new teeth would be around £500 - £5000 per tooth.
There is a lot that goes into the prosthesis design and the implant placement that determines how long that’s gonna last. I would also not plan on it lasting forever. If you get 15-20 years it was a fantastic success.you might be able to get 'all on 4' implants; only takes 4 implant-screws to take rigidly & the upper arch can be mounted on those. I agree. That's another reason to let any bone-graft settle before getting implants so they're more likely to remain stable. Sometimes people rush to get them in & the bone is still settling & more likely to put strain/stretch & less density where neededThere is a lot that goes into the prosthesis design and the implant placement that determines how long that’s gonna last. The Tomlinson techniqueJust ignore it. That's usually the best way to address it.
