Many years ago when The DMAN had a roommate in a slum, we had a maintenance guy come fix our AC thermostat. The roommate is yapping away his whole life story and every Security Question answer to any of his passwords he can think of, then acts like The DMAN is the weirdo for not participating in the speed dating session. This kid even said something like "Hehe, Don't mind The DMAN, he's a little quiet around strangers!!"
This brings The DMAN back to uber drivers. They need not pry. And yet, they pry into our lives with questions we don't need them feeling the closeness to ask us.
I never had a work friend in my life until a couple years ago i was on a trip w a guy and neither of us wanted to be there. We ended up getting completely hammered the last night, wrestling in the hotel lobby, police involvment...classic...now whenever were in the same city we make a point to go out drinking one night.
