The Warriors came out when I would buy PS2 games and not even open them- only ones I opened and played were Vice City and San Andreas. At some point, I remember trading in all the sealed games I had (The Warriors) included, and being motherfucjed by Gamestop because the Xbox 360 and PS3 had already hit the shelves. I still want to play the Warriors at some point as I'm in the market for a backwards compatible PS3 (I will only buy one that I find at a garage sale or thrift store- I like the hunt).

Thank you for coming to my TedTalk
Why on earth would you do that?

Played this (PS2 version) since you fellas were talking about it. It was PFG. The writing was kind of weird in that it always felt like there were things going on offscreen between missions it never told you about. The game got a lot more fun after I finished the classes for the upgrades and could forget about them and focus on the story missions. The clock is way too fast, it feels like you have ten seconds to do anything. Not a perfect game but still pretty good and holds up. Good recommendation!

I still have a weird habit of buying shit (DVD's, CD's, Records, and Video Games) and not opening them/playing them. It's a problem. I took all my sealed shit to Gamestop because the collection was just taking up space and like a retard, I didn't see the demand that sealed products for retro games that would exist in 20 or so years. Whoops.

You had no way of knowing that. It always made more sense to sell an old game on EBay than trade in at GameStop. Some of the Mom n Pop game stores have decent trade in rates. Or at least used to, I’m out of that life.

It's even worse- in 2013, I came upon a collection of retro games/consoles (retail probably 2k or so). Instead of selling the lot on Ebay or trading it in to a used game store for 50% trade value, I took the cash and walked away with a cool $110. Complete fucking crack move. I paid $20 or so for it, so it was pure profit, amirite? I still have nightmares about this-- it was probably over 2k if you go by pricecharting (even the low end of prices) nothing in boxes, but there was atleast a copy of NES Track and Field, Super NES Clay Fighter and Killer Instinct, plus A PS2/PS1, NES, SNES, GameCube, N64, Dreamcast, and XBox- with all of the controls (multiple including wave birds and component cables for the Gamecube). I'm getting pissy just writing this-

Ouch, brotherman. Oh well, it happens. FOMO is a bitch but you can’t let it bother you.

Bully was awesome. The Warriors was my jam though. I beat that game probably over 20 times and I my buddies and I would always run around in the free roam part and beat the fuck out of any pedestrians and loot everything. I seriously played a fucking ton of that game. Best fighting controls ever.
The Warriors was the best. Played that shit endlessly. I guess there wouldn't have been room for a sequel, but I don't know why they didn't ever take that formula and apply it to a different story for a new game. I don't play videogames anymore but I wouldn't mind taking that for a spin again at some point.
