Hoffmans my favorite character I'm very excited to see him again. Wouldn't be surprised if Dr. Gordon makes a cameo at the end.

I loved watching him get squished and then Hoffman reclaiming his dead hand and touching all the jigsaw stuff with it to throw the feds off his trail. And then the big dramatic reveal scene where they unscramble the audio and figure out Hoffman is the apprentice, only for Hoffman to dispatch all three of them with the improvised weaponry and agility of a mossad agent.

as an aside- I'm one of the shitheads who likes the SAW franchise for the timeline, and twists

the next movie has to be some sort of "Crisis on Infinite Earths" reboot

yes yes- we know it occurs in between Jjgsaw's cancer diagnosis and SAW II however i'm hoping the twist is that Tobin Bell Run's into the speedforce and avoid's microwaves so he doesn't get brain cancer

That's one of the best scenes in the series, funster. I know these movies really became shit at the end but that one was great.



I didn't like Hoffman in the beginning but liked him by the end. When he reveals himself in the fourth one all I thought "he's so fucking fat, funster. The fat detective is the mastermind now?"

Jigsaws biggest issues were the traps and how sanitized and cheap it looked compared to the other movies. The trademark grimy look of the previous filma was washed away and it made it look like a made for TV movie.

That's something I like about how they wanna portray this one, funster. Everything looks shitty and lit in saturated, 00s colors.
