I've always had an enjoyment in these movies, even though they're Days of Our Lives with gore. This is supposed to be between Saw 1 and 2 because they painted themselves into a corner when they main character is dying of cancer.

I love the Saw movies, all of them, even the ones that aren't as good. I love the characters, the atmosphere, and the psychology of them. And the gore is amusing.

Same for me too. The house has miles of woods behind it and I was scared shitless for weeks.

Saw is a guilty pleasure for me. The first one is a genuinely great movie imo. Two and Three are alright, but then it just gets comical how they keep stretching out the story. Even the not so good ones for the most part I do enjoy for what they are though. Only ones I really didn't like were VII and Spiral.

I think the trilogy of 1-3 are great and while there's some hints of a sequel, Whannel who wrote those three had that the third was the end. I liked that one just for Jigsaw and Amanda being on screen together for scenes. It's why I'm interested in this one since there's been so little of that across the near dozen films.

I can watch all of them, and I had been rewatching them recently since I knew this one was coming out. There's pieces of the later sequels I like but eh. I liked that the twist in 4 is that it's running parallel with 3.

Yeah it was picked on in that one scene with the insurance guy in Saw 6 about some foreign cancer treatment and it's turned into a film.

I'd like Jigsaw more if the douche at the end doesn't explain the ending like three times.

Spiral was rascal shit.

You can hear Hoffman is making a cameo in this one since he speaks a little toward the end of the trailer.

It's one of those series where the bad ones so greatly outnumber the good ones that the overall series is more known for the ridiculous movies and not the original more grounded ones. It's honestly as absurd of a franchise now as something like Fast and the Furious, Die Hard, or Star Wars. Die Hard is currently getting a Netflix reboot.....likely starring a nigger or a woman.

Also Chris Rock's Spiral movie should have been called Nigsaw instead of Jigsaw.

Lmao I just can't. I realize that it's a dumb franchise to watch with friends/girlfriends (I saw 3 and 4 in theaters), but it looks like the usual Saw slop. Might be fun, but I'll wait to pirate it.
