I usually give most HBO shows a look, but I just can't bring myself to watch this one, I didn't play the game, I'm sick of zombie/survival shows, and the monsters in the trailers just look gross, I don't want to watch ugly people get eaten by ugly monsters every fucking Sunday.

I’m only interested because I played the game. Pascal seems PFG but I don’t know if I can continue to watch this shit. This kid is just too offensive looking. Hurts my eyes. She has permanent RBF and I just want to smack her with a broom.

The show has basically ripped off everything from other zombie shows and 'end of the world' shows. Same stupid premise and concepts. In the future after the outbreak everything is dirty, clothes, paper, people. Apparently being clean and fighting infection doesn't matter. Planes crash out of the sky like every other zombie or outbreak movie or show. HBO just had a show called 'Station Eleven' that was terrible about two men saving a little girl during a pandemic and there was a plane crash in the opening episode.

The little nigger girl says "is it terrorists?" which is a ripoff of a line from War of the Worlds also spoken by a girl sitting the backseat of a car while two men are in front. Nothing is original here. This is like they watched a dozen zombie or apocalypse films and just took what they liked. The 'get the one girl to safety' or 'get the infected immune one to safety' has been done a million times before. It was the entire plot to I Am Legend where they need to get the antidote to the military to solve the infections.

The main actor is terrible. He is not threatening at all and doesn't seem like he would be capable of being a US Ranger or Marine type. The little White girl is good though, even though the writing is awful. She is a good enough actress to even make the 'girl boss' writing tolerable if not actually entertaining. I thought I would hate her but she is fine. The main female actress used to be a piece of ass but hit the wall at Anne Heche speeds it seems.
