The mask in Halloween (1978) was a Captain Kirk mask they altered to make it look unsettling. No clue about the hockey mask.

The Myer's mask was made from a William Shatner mask used for a scene in the film Devil's Rain. It's when he is possessed or something. The original was cool too.
