I've got one and the robot game that comes with it shows how cool the controller is, and the graphics seem better than PS4, but that's it. Smart move if you're interested is wait for the new model/price drop in a few years and then buy the games cheap.

I've always been a big fan of the classic Resident Evils and there's modders out there using the same resources from those games, making their own character skins and building entirely new games with them. This is far more interesting than what the actually fucking company (Capcom) produces.

I remember having a hard time with 4's driving, the only car i was able to drive comfortably is the Pruis looking one, and since the bad guys cars speed is synced up to yours i only drove the Pruis

It's the only one of the main series I haven't gotten and don't intend to ever. I got RE7 thinking it would be better than 6 but it actually was the most anti-fun RE in the series. Stole from every American 80s horror film with no identity of it's own.

It depends on if you like Playstation exclusives or not. I happen to like them so the PS5 has been a great machine for me. Technically you can play a lot of the shit on a PS4 or PS4 Pro but the PS5 is just a huge quality of life upgrade. Loading screens are non existent. It's silent compared to the JET ENGINE that is the PS4/PS4 Pro. It runs games at 60-120fps. Ratchet and Clank is pretty great, Demons Souls Remake is great and stunning visually, FF7 Remake, Returnal, Spider-Man, Horizon, Ghost of Tsushima, the list goes on. Also the controller is way better than the Dualshock 4. Selling it ain't a bad idea either but god damn do those eBay fees suck. Just make sure you want to sell it before you do because there is probably going to be a shortage into at least mid 2022 if not later.

As an aside, if you want to play vidyagames it's really hard to beat a PS5 or Series X right now (if you can get a hold of one). It's insane to think you can get a $400 console (if you find the digital PS5) that has a Zen 2 cpu, a really good 5700XT equivalent GPU, a 1tb 5-7gb/s nvme SSD and is still whisper quiet. Shit even an old ass GTX 1070 is going for $400 on the aftermarket right now.
