Depends on what your goal is. If you're trying to lose weight you might want to eat tuna, chicken or lean beef after a workout. If you want to build muscle you should probably go with peanut butter and shit like that.

I’ve generally always used gold standard whey but any whey isolate you don’t mind the taste will be fine these days. You don’t have to buy expensive shit. Same goes for creatine, any monohydrate will do.
