First, the funeral home picks up your corpse, then uses it to extort your family and or friends by charging them thousands of dollars to dispose of it properly. Then your family and friends go through your accumulated shit. They take what they want (or what you specified), they sell the rest to strangers at a tawdry yard sale, and whatever's left they throw into a dumpster. Everyone acts all sad for a while, then life goes on, and they all slowly forget about you, as you aren't around anymore. Within a generation or two, if you're lucky, it's as if you never even existed at all.
