What does a corporation do when it can no longer expand domestically? It doesn’t stop and figure out how to improve their operations to maybe pull a bigger profit or create a better product. They go global and keep expanding. The more it expands the less control someone has over it and the worse the product gets.
We traded the days where companies would make steady returns on profit to where a company NEEDS to beat it’s quarterly earnings by 2x for it to be considered investable. This leads to fucking over workers and constant expansion to keep meeting these ridiculous exponential expectations, and some day the bubble will pop.
