I'd rather watch Cleaver.
DMCA, complaints, and other inquiries:
The only thing I remember from The Two Jakes is Nicholson digging for gold in Madeline Stowe's dumper:I watched this movie the Two Jakes which was a shitty sequel to Chinatown made in the 90s. They put even minor characters from the first film in it for no reason. Like "dork librarian from Hall of Records."
I’d rather go to a Visiting Day concert hosted by Massive Genius.I'd rather watch Cleaver.
They recorded in Denmark, child.I’d rather go to a Visiting Day concert hosted by Massive Genius.
There's parts of these trailers that I really like. I feel like Vera Farmiga is gonna be one of the best parts of the movie as Lidia. I wasn't sure how Ray Liotta would do but everything I've seen has me cautiously optimistic. Especially when he says "Pain comes from always wanting things." Junkies always want things. Dickie is a junky drunk piece of shit. Makes sense. This is like the Star Wars prequels but for adults. HBO supposedly signed the sequel movie to OZ though so maybe that will be good.
Who wants to take bets on whether or not a movie about race riots in the 60s never has the word 'nigger' in it once?
Yeah, in this time line the two Tonys were teasing a 12 year old Chrissie at Uncle Pat's farm when Tony S was a married man in his late 20s and Tony B was...in prison?Tony is way older than Christopher in this-- Christopher is a fucking infant and Tony is atleast 16 or so.
The timeline got fucked up.
You say that. But literally every single movie or show that has awful sequels or prequels is diminished. I do not care how good the original Star Wars movies were. Or the first two Godfather films. And so on. The entire canon as a whole becomes more and more watered down and mediocre. You will remember the cringe inducing moments from Many Saints when you watch Sopranos in the future. No matter how awful this movie is, I won’t let it ruin my appreciation of the original.
I see your point. I think I might just stick to the original for as long as possible. You say that. But literally every single movie or show that has awful sequels or prequels is diminished. If this movie is trash. Which it looks like it will be. It will be part of the official Sopranos storyline. Authorized by David Chase himself. And when you talk with the hipster fags that started watching the Sopranos in 2021 they will reference the movie more than the show. I predict that the majority of social media mentions of The Sopranos in the future center entirely around this movie and not the original series.
Remember that totally natural and organic line from Paulie in season 5:This might be even worse than what I was expecting.
Youse guys hear about dis guy Donald Trump? I hear he ain't going to Vietnam because he's been medically deferred. I know we're criminals but Madon!
