People who believe a magical Santa Claus-like "God" is looking down at them and watching over them are no better or more evolved than dogs, except dogs are cuter and more useful. Anything past the Protestant Reformation is garbage. The biggest victims of the World Wars and the 20th Century were Catholics and the Orthodox, and it wasn't by accident. There is no "Christianity" in the same sense that not all Jews or Muslims are the same. I'd argue that Protestants are merely Jews who eat pork, because they definitely don't tend to take it seriously.

The transmutation of species has never been proven. Adaptation? That's plausible, and you see it in domestication. But the idea of one species becoming another refutes the science of DNA, which I definitely believe in. Their biggest excuse is, "well, it takes millions of years, so nobody can observe it."

I think if there was a benevolent entity looking over us, then it's likely not the easily quantifable bearded asshole that the Bible shills. I won't argue that there's "zero chance" for any god on our side, but if one existed, then their ways and machinations would be beyond our understanding. At least, "easily understable", I guess.

the Bible never said that. That's how God is represented in jew media.

God is on our side because he has mercy. If you are in a lot of pain, endorphins are released in your body to overcome it. Trauma can be forgotten -- if something awful happens to you, you will get over it in time.

If something absolutely horrific happens to you, you can also end your life to get out of the pain (although this is difficult for a human to do for a reason, and is an option of mercy given to us by God).

Oh sorry I misread what you meant by "God on our side", but I thought that was a pretty cool post so I'm not deleting.

Religion is nothing but easy answers for the intellectually bereft. Understanding things is hard, chalking it all up to "God's will" is easy. That's all there is to it.

Literally nothing man made that is in writing is older than 6,000 years. Atheist fags can rage about carbon dating and magic telescopes that can bend space and time all they want. But actual records we can hold in our hands and verify the chain of custody are 6,000 years old. Oldest fossils in America for Caucasian skeletal remains are also 6,000 years old most likely.

You can argue that for the "popular religions" that are known on this planet. They're easy, convenient answers, but it doesn't negate the possibility for another "force" or "collective" or "god" that does truly exist.
