If you look at Carl 👃 Sagan's Cosmos series, the whole gist of it is to point out how insignificant humanity is and religion or belief in anything higher than humanity = bad (according to them). What if space isn't real, or at least in the concept we've come to learn of it? I'm not trying to be some schizo retard, but I genuinely think it's a question that should be asked and thought about. The multitude of lies that have become identified just keep piling up and I don't think, at this point, we should just blindly trust whatever popular opinion and "trusted" sources dictate.
