I went to school with a girl with that last name. I knew her from Kindergarten through High School. The way I remember her and everyone else pronouncing her last name was Newyen.
I saw her at the local mall years after high school. I was genuinely excited to see her! I walked over to say hi and just to be sure it was her, ( sorry sometimes they all look alike) I said her name.
This slant eyed cunt, instead of just saying hello back, she went off on me about how i pronounced Nguyen wrong. Being the cuck beta male I am, i apologized and told her that I remember her and others pronounce it the way i did.
She continued to be a rude twat and told me i was wrong. It got so awkward because she just couldn't accept my apology and move on. She wanted to make sure that i knew I was wronging her in some way. I wanted to tell her off but I think I just said it was nice to see her and went about my day.
