Doesn’t he do it from the basement in Carolina? I didn’t listen so idk. Does he have to pay the staff in NY if he does it from his basement? And the signal power money comes out of his money? I figured the station is on the hook for thatWhatever a week, - 50kW of power for 2 hours, - fees, - staff (whatever that would mean)
Maintenance for equipment factors in somehow also. Whatever union bullshit on top of it.
It's not pure profit, he's getting a cut of what's left after operating costs. And the signal power money comes out of his money? I figured the station is on the hook for that
I genuinely can't see how a Sunday night AM radio program could possibly be profitable to any significant degree. Maybe it is, maybe I'm missing something there, but even in a best-case scenario, he couldn't be pulling more than a few hundred listeners, if that.

7.5 million revenue, let's assume it's all from advertisers.
24 hours × 7 days = 168 hours a week
168 hours x 52 weeks = 8736 hours a year
$7.5mill / 8736 hours means advertising is very roughly $858 an hour, there's paid spots on the weekend and Sunday nights probably don't get the same rates as Friday afternoon or Monday morning, etc. but we'll ignore that and assume all hours make the same money.
That leaves ~$1700 before expenses for nana's two hour stint? I could be wrong about any of it though.
Considering what you're saying this is a generous estimate. And even with the generosity before operating expenses. Also consider that Anthony broadcasts in an absolute dead time. I have to think most weekend hosts are paying for their time and finding their own sponsors; hence the cigar and gold commercials.
Or it could be that syndicates play Red Apple's advertising and get programming for free. I don't know.I have to think most weekend hosts are paying for their time and finding their own sponsors; hence the cigar and gold commercials.
Yeah if you've averaged this out to $858 per hour, obviously the weekdays are doing the heavy lifting with advertisers. You mentioned 168 hours per week; 120 of those hours are far, far more valuable than the other 48. And only 60 of that 120 is really all that valuable. And Anthony is on in none of those valuable time slots.Considering what you're saying this is a generous estimate. And even with the generosity before operating expenses.
Anthony mentioned that when he signed his contract, he was looking at the compensation section and assumed the salary listed was what he would be paid per show. However, he later realized it was actually his annual salary. He is making absolutely no money.7.5 million revenue, let's assume it's all from advertisers.

Yeah I caught that too and surprised it hasn’t been mentioned before. What is that number then? Is he making like 40-50k and thought he was actually going to receive 40-50k an episode? That’d be insane.Anthony mentioned that when he signed his contract, he was looking at the compensation section and assumed the salary listed was what he would be paid per show. Any right winger with a tenuous grasp of the conservative headlines could make the points that he is.
Are we sure "TheDukeOfRoscoeBlvd" isn't Fred?
How does anyone not think that's a bit? Not enough typos for someone that retarded.I'm still thinking there is a non-zero chance its someone doing a bit.
