Why would you need to access your investments like it’s liquid cash? Don’t invest if you need them as bank accounts.
It sucks for people who are going to retire right now, but in that case what have they been doing for the last 30 years of free money?
People may expect lows and highs but they don’t expect a -15% decline in 3 days with no sign of reversal. That is far different from say the -15% decline over a year that we saw in 2021.
Investing it so they can have more money to retire? What, should it be parked in their mattress collecting 0 interest so inflation can wipe it out?
