Usually what I do in this situation is book the night before and then call the hotel and let them know I won’t be arriving until the morning and to make sure they don’t give the room away and have it ready for me when I arrive.

Yeah so people don’t show up at 9am when they have a room booked for that night. It takes a few hours to turn it over after everyone checks out from the previous night. It’s weird to have to explain this to a supposed non-rube.

Sometimes i understsnd things subconciously but prwtend to be dumb so people will hold my hand. I think thats what it is.
