Anthony is getting older, but he's still more talented than Gregg and Jim put together. He's better company on a podcast than anyone from the OnA alumni, and he gets invited to Rogan's show while Gregg gets ignored for a reason.

Gregg is currently wallowing in a level of obscurity Anthony couldn't even achieve if he lived another 20 years trying his hardest to achieve anonymity

Jim is hilarious in off the cuff, riff scenarios. Overall he was a huge addition to the show and made it 3x funnier than it would have been without him. Listening to old episodes Jim often outpaces Burr, CK and Patrice in their prime

Coffee is one of the biggest commodities in jail(where I was locked up), and it was that shitty Keefe coffee. You could trade meal trays for a spoonful of it. Some meth heads even smoked and snorted the shit.
Edit: If you ever get locked up in WV shove a couple bic lighters up your ass, a full one will go for like 100 bucks lol
realistically, this is info 60% of users he could find actionable in their lifetimes

Coffee is for faggots, tastes horrible and any man that drinks it wouldn’t last twenty minutes in the can, much less twenty years eating grilled cheese off the radiater.
I used to love drinking a pot of coffee every day, but lately it just isn’t doing it anymore. I have 1-3 cups a day max now, if I drink too much of it it fucks with my stomach.

I’m a fag who brings tea to work now.

I love coffee but 3 cups is way too much for me. I get jittery, anxious and severely depressed if I have that much

I don't hate Ant or particularly like him so I don't care. Most of the passionate hatred is performative and temporary, I don't really care that much. -It's "da bit." The people who do are unhinged, especially the ones who take issue with "racism"

I liked the Don and Mike Show
Lol

Ron and Fez is Don and Mike Show tier, and that's not a compliment

I am a Joe Cumia fan. His buffoonery is entertaining
Even when he was really getting the shit, it was hard to hate him. The only version of Hateable Joe was when Nana was still coming on the sub, and Joe pretended to be an Alpha or something, threatening people like Josh fucking Fonner (RIP).

After that passed, fucking with Joe was fun, and he was never as thoroughly miserable and hate able as Pat. Hell, I miss getting new essay-length Joe responses.

I hate that GBA didn't make a comeback.

The Montreal Screwjob wasn't a work.

The Rock always stunk and couldn't riff shit.

Vince was fucking Michaels which is why he got away with murder.

Randy Savage was always cooler than Hogan.

Steve Austin was the last good character in wrestling.

If Starrcade 97 wasn't a "it doesn't work for me, brother" situation, WWF would of went under.

Wrestling is never making a mainstream return.

Why do you think so? I always like hearing the theories on this.

I may have mentioned elsewhere on this board, but I watched ECW's 2006 One Night Stand PPV a couple of months ago.

That crowd is UNITED.

It saddened me. There's nothing today where crowds can gather (even pre-covid) and show that much energy.

I don't think the Internet killed wrestling like Cornette and those want to believe. Many people knew it was fake in 1997. It was simply entertaining.

I do think WWE's monopoly contributed big time. They didn't have to compete any more, so why take any risks at all?

I know guys like Hall think it was a work, but I just don't think so. I don't see it as a JFK conspiracy.

Hall's whole thing is the cut to Bret right after the bell rang being directed by Vince and allowing W-C-W being airwritten to the cameras. I honestly see that as Vince's genius at the time to know this would make good TV since the company was on it's way out and it needed a brand new take on it, but I don't think he knew just how well this would play out for him. The "Mr. McMahon" character only came after when the screwjob turned out to be a surprise success. I mean at that point, I don't even think it was known by many that Vince owned it. He portrayed himself a just a commentator and I didn't know he was the owner either as a kid until he got involved with storylines.

Bret has remained the same dude since this happened. At this point I feel like there would be some actual evidence by now since so much time has gone by and everyone has said the same story for 25 years. I mean if it was a work, Bret really had a shitty career from that point on and with him it was always about the fame and not the money. Yeah at that point he was making a lot, but WCW didn't do shit with him. Three million a year and he never once got a good angle. "Yeah, stick him in the NWO with the other jobbers."

I think Hall was completely wrong too. The idea to send Bret to WCW because they wouldn't know what to do with him is insane. Also, abruptly cutting that PPV would have been very hard to do, since Vince was at ringside and not really able to pull a "shut it down" to the production crew easily. I don't believe that Bret spelling WCW was ever focused on and replayed on WWE TV in the days and weeks after.

I do think Cornette was right that Vince thought he was the good guy -- "Bret screwed Bret." He thought the fans would understand the business and rally around him. But they hated him for it, and the genius play was to become a heel character.
