I’ve been to a few Stros-Rays games at the Trop. It is what it is, a domed stadium built in the 90’s for nothing that finally got a team years after it was built. No one seems interested in giving them a new joint in Tampa which sucks. But Miller Park isn’t much better than the Trop to be honest. It’s been the same since 2001. Only thing great there is the fan roof. They removed Bernie’s beer mug, which is bullshit.

My first game was at the Astrodome in 1988. Still had the aura of being the “Fucking Astrodome” in 1988. Lol. You also could smoke in there then, my dad burned a pack of heaters in that joint. Nolan Ryan pitched (his last season with the Astros) they beat the Mets 6-3. The Astrodome was actually good for baseball as far as sight lines. Football it did ok but if you were back in the stands you were really far from the field. The Superdome feels like a football stadium even though it’s round, the Astrodome always felt like a baseball stadium they shoehorned football into. Even though it was built with both in mind. I’m a Texas A&M fan in college sports, so my dad took us when TAMU played Houston a few times in the dome.
