Their decision to purchase that home made a lot more sense once I found out it was financed by the seller because Pat and Niki don’t qualify for a mortgage with their shitty credit scores. This ghetto dump was literally their only option and boy does it show.
I think that guy's lack-of-action lately and letting the pig run wild is because, and I'm sorry if you haven't heard of this, @SpaceEdge abruptly died back in May in an unfortunate accident. We should respect Quasi's privacy at this time as he mourns the loss of his black friend. Amen

Bingo. From the looks of things that kitchen hasn’t been updated since the 60s or so and they didn’t have water lines to the fridge back then.
Not to be a delicate flower or anything but I can’t imagine living in such a dump in my 40s. Everyone has that first shitty apartment in their 20s but fucking hell, my college dorm was more luxurious than Pat’s hovel.
No central air would be a dealbreaker on its own. Then factor in the original pipes, lead paint and cracking walls. Pat was really stupid enough to think this was an investment property in a rapidly gentrifying area? He really is a much bigger moron than any of us can even fathom.
Yeah this place is very similar to the first rental my wife and I had when I had just started my career and she was in school still. The landlord gave us a dishwasher on wheels after about a year and we were pretty excited about it. Our combined income was about $35k so not quite 6 figures each.
I still can’t figure out why Rick has anyone on his side when he tells these obvious lies every day. They have to know it isn’t true since they all live in similar squalor and are well aware that a couple making $100k+ each would be way better off.
Because the only people on his side are literally retarded.
