She has to know, right? I know it's common thinking that Torque was keeping her in the dark about this but at this point she has to know that he's got that judgement. Unless he's literally taking the mail before she can see it. He's home all day, after all. Maybe he told her the SFWA was covering that too? I have to believe she knows. I would bet everything I had that if she suggested they divorce but stay together and he takes that judgement all to himself, he would no child her and say that if they divorced she had to pay half. He once claimed (I think during the “well over 6 figures” or Stimulus Checks) that his wife makes ALMOST as much as he does but not more than because that wood hurt his ego of course. He tried to say they almost didn’t even qualify for any stimulus money yet later said he would spend it on a democrat candidate.

For people who think Quasi will never get his money, keep this in mind:

• Both Patrick and Nicole are on the hook
• Nicole has an SEO business and makes way more than Patrick. Easily enough for Quasi to garnish some of her earnings
• Nicole's mom is rich, and after she croaks, Quasi will be paid inheritance money before Nicole.
• Same with Patrick's parents, although neither of them are rich

If they want to bite the bullet and make it their life goal to never pay Quasi a penny, then neither Patrick nor Nicole can have more than a couple hundred bucks in the bank at any given time, no more nice vacations (which is probably why they are getting it out of their system now), no having an income above poverty level, no selling their house/moving somewhere nicer, no retirement savings, no nice purchases (i.e. cars, motorcycles, home improvements).

Patrick wants to put his hands in his ears and say "BLAH BLAH BLAH I DON'T OWE ANYTHING", but there's no way Nicole isn't legitimately freaking out over this, considering she is the breadwinner of the family yet had little to no say in this retarded crusade of Patrick's. She probably isn't too happy that her husband financially fucked her up for the rest of her life.

I still refuse to believe that Niki is making any legitimate income, unless you’re calling her the “breadwinner” because it’s her family that is running the scam that is paying them.
