I'm going to say The Doors.
I've definitely not listened extensively, but what I've heard has not exactly blown me away.

I'm going to have an aneurysm (cheers spell check), get a whisky down youI'm going to say The Doors.
teheOther than Oasis (another pair of charlatans)
Their early stuff only seems corny because their later stuff redefined rock music, so you have the (dis)advantage of listening to it after they made it seem obsolete, if that makes any sense. The Beatles were crazy overrated.
Their early stuff is really faggy.
"I got lips that long to kiss you. And keep you satisfied, oooooooooh!" Benders.
"I wanna hold your hand" Do ya?
Joe Cocker's version of With a Little Help from My Friends is really good, but the original is plodding and sounds like children's music. It says a lot when you can't even perform the definitive version of your own song. Octopus's Garden and Yellow Submarine are both obviously children's music.
While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Here Comes the Sun are good - both written by Harrison. Lennon and McCartney can blow me.
And I don't even see why they are considered influential. Other than Oasis (another pair of charlatans) who exactly did they influence??
brits write good songs when they are out of their element, maybe that's why i never liked Beatles, they are just too british for me.Their early stuff only seems corny because their later stuff redefined rock music, so you have the (dis)advantage of listening to it after they made it seem obsolete, if that makes any sense.
Listen to the singles charts for the week that Love Me Do came out and you can see why people were excited.
The album I heard a lot growing up was Help! I honestly think they could've had a number 1 with any track off that album and probably still could today, it's just so catchy start to finish. Some funny lyrics, some happy, some heartfelt, but nothing too outlandish - they are not some pretentious thinking man's band like BoC.
Pretty much any musician alive would give their left arm to write songs like The Beatles. Nearly everything they did is instantly memorable and they've become so ingrained in British culture that if you're from the UK and you don't know all the words to 10 or more of their songs you've no right to call yourself British. It's like not knowing the national anthem, Land of Hope and Glory, or Jerusalem.

I would say Obscured by Clouds as well. Both are great albumsLed Zep never impressed me,even less so when I found out about their plagiarism.
Pink Floyd are great. I wouldn't expect you to be blown away years after the fact - neither was I other than a couple of tracks - but you can still appreciate that they're very tight musicians who wrote some interesting rock music, experimented and pushed boundaries constantly and inspired a whole bunch of people. There is still not one album that sounds like Dark Side of the Moon. It is totally unique. Meddle is a good starting point if you want a balance of musicianship and cohesive song writing.
Wish You Were Here is incredible and the story behind it is heartbreaking, plus it doesn't outstay its welcome. One of the few albums ever that I'd rate close to a 10/10.
Anyone who openly claims to be a fan of Red Hot Chili Peppers or Foo Fighters should be side eyed and treated like a cunt.Red Hot Chili Peppers really fucking stink. Never understood the appeal. Bunch of crackers playing watered down Parliment songs. That John guy is a good guitarist, but he is kind of a Hendrix clone
Go to black mass.I’ve smoked an absurd amount of weed in my past. Sabbath doesn’t even seem like weed music anyways. “Just like witches at black masses!” Did ya, do ya, etc.
Pink Floyd is pretentious garbage held in high esteem by people who never grew out of their musical snob phase and boomers who have nostalgia for tripping balls while listening to Dark Side of the Moon. Their music is as mediocre as it gets. Even Nickelback feels more inspired.Led Zep never impressed me,even less so when I found out about their plagiarism.

What is he waiting for?Tom Waits.
They’re a bunch of British faggots. Why do you think Elvis was such a rock star? He brought some swing into his music. Elvis didn’t make britfag sissy crapThe Beatles are wildly overrated. The early stuff was lame AF.
I know that he was on the (((flight logs))), but I’m willing to over look that purely because he’s such a paradigm of White American culture.Jimmy Buffett - I’ve gone to a couple of Buffett shows and I can respect him for connecting his shitty songs to the boomer dream of retiring to an island and sipping margaritas and daiquiris all day. Still, he stinks and I don’t like him.
GD is cool. I ain’t a weed man, but it’s still chill shit
I was having a discussion about it with my dad recently, but I just figured out that song is pretty much a love sonnet for a black woman he saw in a library.Africa stink
